Amritsar (Golden temple - 2 nights) →  The Harmandir Sahib, also Darbar Sahib and informally referred to as the "Golden Temple", is the holiest Sikh Gurdwara located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab, India. The city was founded in 1574 by the fourth Sikh guru, Guru Ram Das ji.

 

Day 01 → Arrive @ New Delhi International Airport T3, India, transfer from Delhi to Amritsar by car

              (apprx. time 7 hours). Another optional mode by air and the flying time to Amritsar is about 

              12 hours including transit time in Delhi. Subject to availability/timings of airlines.

              Overnight stay @ Amritsar Hotel.

 

Day 02 → Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh and Wagah border by evening.

 

 

Dharamshala (4 nights) → A picturesque town laid on the height of 1700 meters above the sea level at                                          the foothill of great Dhauladar range; there is a Tibetan Buddhism center,  

                                     where Dalai Lama’s residence is located.

 

Day 03 → Transfer to Dharamshala by car. (approx. time 5 hours) 

               Overnight stay @ Dharamshala Hotel 

Day 04 → Sight-seeing or free for leisure activities, overnight stay at hotel. 

Day 05 → Sight-seeing or free for leisure activities, overnight stay at hotel. 

Day 06 → Sight-seeing or free for leisure activities, overnight stay at hotel.  

 

 

Rewalsar (3 nights) → is a village on the bank of the Cognominal Lake at the foothill of the Himalayan                                     Mountains. This lake is a pilgrimage destination of Hindu, Buddhist and Sikh      

                                devotees. Nearby the lake, the saint cave (respected by Buddhist devotees) is

                                located where (according to one of the legends) Guru Padmasabhava had  

                                meditated before starting his way to Tibet.

 

Day 07 → First half day transfer to Rewalsar (approximate time 4 hours), check in Hotel and rest of the                  day for sight-seeing / free for leisure activities, overnight stay at hotel.                  

Day 08 → Sight-seeing / free for leisure activities, overnight stay at hotel.   

Day 09 → Sight-seeing / free for leisure activities, overnight stay at hotel.

 

 

Manali (4 nights) → A famous tourist centre in the Kullu Valley, laid on the banks of Beas River. There is                               the Vashist village, nearby Manali, named after Rishi Vashisht and famous for its hot 

                            springs. We will also visit the Yogini Falls, Nikolas Roerich’s residence and museum,

                            the Manikaran village in Parvati valley with its sacred springs and other places.

A variety of trekking tours are available to arrange (depends on the weather conditions). Solang Valley known by its winter sports and paraglide lays in 10 km from Manali and might be visited any time. 

 

Day 10 → First half day transfer to Manali (approximate time 4 hours), check in Manali Hotel and rest of                 the day sight-seeing / free for leisure activities, overnight stay at Hotel.           

Day 11  → Sight-seeing / free for leisure activities, overnight stay at hotel. 

Day 12 → Sight-seeing / free for leisure activities, overnight stay at hotel.   

Day 13 → Sight-seeing / free for leisure activities, overnight stay at hotel.

Day 14 → Transfer to New Delhi International Airport T3, (apprx. time 12-15 hours by car).

 

Hotels → Clean and Hygienic budget accommodations on mountains - rooms shall be provided on double sharing / occupancy basis. Shall be confirmed upon finalization. 

 

Suggestions → Due to mountain areas and uncertainty of rain, one should carry own winter clothes, umbrella, rain coat, good pair of sports shoes & mosquito repellents.
